Netflix, as part of its original series line of Asian dramas just dropped the trailer for the time traveling fantasy romance drama, The King: Eternal Monarch.




From its trailer The King: Eternal Monarch promises a feast of parallel worlds, transmigration, crime solving and supernatural occurrences all rolled into one.
The drama reunites popular script writer Kim Eun Sook with lead actress Kim Go Eun, who plays Jang Tae Eul, a ball-busting detective, in this follow up to their collaboration on 2016 romantic fantasy smash hit Goblin: The Lonely and Great God.
The King: Eternal Monarch also stars Lee Min ho as Emperor Yi Gon in his first role after the end of his mandatory miltary enlistment.
The drama tells the story of Yi Gon and Jang Tae Eul‘s efforts to defeat criminals in the modern world while working together to close the door that connects their parallel worlds.
This 16 Episode drama will begin airing on SBS in Korea and on Netflix on April 17, 2020.
